DXtrade for prop firms: access, features and costs

In short

DXtrade is a white label trading platform from Devexperts, a financial software company. Devexperts sells a prop trading version directly to prop firms, covering FX, CFDs and crypto, and has added US futures. Setup pricing is not published.

What DXtrade is

DXtrade is built by Devexperts. Its prop firm page describes a platform for prop trading and trading competitions, covering FX, CFDs, crypto and spread bets. Devexperts pitches it to three groups: startups in the prop business, brokers adding prop trading, and established prop firms.

The same page lists real-time risk controls for maximum drawdown and profit targets, customizable trading layouts, and prop trading integrations: connections to payment providers, KYC and AML services, and CRMs. Devexperts says a firm can be up and running in a week on its own hosted platform.

Futures as well as CFDs

In 2024, Finance Magnates reported that Devexperts had onboarded more than 40 prop firms to DXtrade XT in a year, and that DXtrade XT now lets firms offer US futures to clients globally alongside forex and CFDs. The report says its built-in trading simulator connects to a firm's CRM and portal by API.

That matters if you have not settled on CFD or futures yet. One vendor covering both can keep your options open. If futures are your main product, also read our page on futures platforms, which covers Rithmic, Tradovate, NinjaTrader and ProjectX.

How a prop firm gets access

A prop firm signs up with Devexperts directly for the prop version of DXtrade. The platform is one piece of the stack. You still need a CRM to sell challenges and manage traders, a trader dashboard, payments and KYC, either from Devexperts' integration partners or from vendors you choose.

Strengths and trade-offs

  • CFD and futures in one platform. Useful if you plan to offer both, or may add futures later.
  • Direct vendor relationship. Access does not depend on a broker's license, unlike the MT5 route.
  • Built-in prop risk controls. Drawdown and profit target rules are handled in the platform, per Devexperts.
  • Setup price not published. You need a quote, and our setup figure is an estimate.
  • A new interface for MetaTrader users. Traders coming from MetaTrader will be learning a different layout, so plan onboarding material.

Questions to ask Devexperts

  • Does my plan include CFDs, futures, or both, and what does each add to the cost?
  • Which CRMs and trader dashboards already have a working integration?
  • How are my daily loss, trailing drawdown and consistency rules configured, and can each be enforced exactly as written?
  • For futures, who supplies market data, and how are exchange data fees billed?
  • Which countries can I serve, and how are restricted countries enforced?
  • Can I export all trader and trade data if I leave?

What it costs

DXtrade setup is an estimated $10,000, since Devexperts does not publish a setup price. The monthly fee is $5,000 a month. The cost table on this page shows the source for each figure and the date we checked it. Market data for futures is billed separately. Where Prop Firm Studios fits

We do not build trading technology, and we have no partnership with Devexperts. On the Full Scale plan, we help a client choose a platform (for CFD firms, MT5 (through a license holder), cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker or DXtrade; for futures firms, Rithmic, Tradovate, NinjaTrader or ProjectX), then set up and integrate the providers they choose, from the platform to the CRM, payments and KYC. Each provider bills the client directly. Compare DXtrade with MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradeLocker on the tech stack overview, or read how to start a prop firm in 2026.
