Minimum trading days
Minimum trading days is the least number of days a trader must trade before a challenge phase can be passed or a reward requested.
What it means
The rule stops a trader from passing a challenge with one lucky session. Some firms set a few days per phase, some set a minimum only before a reward, and some have no minimum at all.
A trading day usually counts when the trader opens or closes at least one trade on that day. Some firms add a condition, such as a minimum profit on the day, for it to count.
Worked example
A challenge has a 10% profit target and a 4 day minimum. The trader reaches the target on day 2. The phase is not passed yet. The trader must trade on 2 more days, staying inside every loss limit, before it is.
