Cookie policy

This page lists every cookie and browser storage item this website uses, grouped by category, with what each one does and how long it lasts. Only necessary items load without your choice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device. We call both of them cookies on this page, and your choices apply to both.

Your choices

When you first visit, our consent manager asks for your choice. You can select Accept all, Reject all or Choose. With Choose, you decide on each category: Necessary, which is always on, Analytics and Advertising.

Wherever you are, the United States included, nothing beyond Necessary loads until you opt in.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off, even if you select Accept all.

In the United States, the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link in the footer also turns advertising off at any time.

We use Google Consent Mode, so Google tags respect the choice you make.

Necessary: always on

These items keep the site working and secure. They do not track you across other sites and are not used for advertising, so they do not need your consent.

NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers the language of the site you opened, such as English or Arabic. Duration: session, removed when you close the browser.

pfs-consent (local storage): remembers your cookie choices. Duration: 12 months, then we ask again.

pfs-final-mode (local storage): remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Duration: until you clear it.

pfs-lang (local storage): remembers the language you chose with the language switcher, so we do not suggest another one. Duration: until you clear it.

pfs-lang-suggested (local storage): remembers that we suggested your browser's language once, so the suggestion never shows again. Duration: until you clear it.

__cf_bm (cookie, Cloudflare): helps tell people from bots. Duration: 30 minutes.

cf_clearance (cookie, Cloudflare): shows that your browser passed a security check. Duration: up to 1 year, set by the security settings.

Turnstile spam check (Cloudflare): loads with our forms, to stop spam. It sets no advertising cookies.

pfs-region (session storage): remembers which privacy rules apply where you are (European, United States or other), based on the country our security service reports, so we do not look it up again on every page. Duration: until you close the tab.

pfs_preview (cookie): only while the site is in private preview before launch. Remembers that you entered the preview password. Duration: 30 days.

pfs-ref (session storage): keeps a referral code from a referral link you opened, so it is attached to an audit request you send in the same visit. Duration: until you close the tab.

pfs-tool:<tool name> (local storage): one item for each free trader tool you use, such as pfs-tool:lot-size-calculator. It remembers the numbers and choices you last entered in that tool, on this device only, so they are there when you come back. Nothing you enter is sent to us. The Reset button on the tool clears it. The tools embedded on other websites never store anything. Duration: until you select Reset or clear it.

payload-token (cookie): used only by our own team when signed in to the site admin. Visitors never receive it. Duration: 8 hours.

pfs-2fa (cookie): used only by our own team, between the password and the two-step code when signing in to the admin. Visitors never receive it. Duration: 5 minutes.

pfs-console-folded, pfs-console-groups, pfs-console-density, pfs-console-toast and pfs-recover items (local and session storage): used only by our own team in the admin, for its layout and unsaved changes. Visitors never receive them. Duration: until cleared.

Analytics

We do not use an analytics service on the site today.

pfs-attribution (session storage): off everywhere, the United States included, until you accept Analytics. Keeps the UTM tags of the link you followed, the site that sent you and the first page of your visit, so an audit request you send records where it came from. Duration: until you close the tab.

No analytics cookies are set today. If we ever add one, it will be listed here and will load only with your consent.

These items load only if you accept Advertising. They help us see whether our ads bring visitors to the site.

No advertising pixel runs on this site at the moment, so none of these cookies are set. When a pixel is switched on, its cookies are listed here.

Call booking: only when you open it

The Cal.com booking calendar loads only when you click to open it. Nothing from Cal.com loads before that. Once open, it runs in its own frame and sets these cookies under its own domain, cal.com:

__cf_bm (Cloudflare, for Cal.com): helps tell people from bots. Duration: 30 minutes.

__Secure-next-auth.csrf-token (Cal.com): protects the booking form against forged requests. Duration: session, removed when you close the browser.

__Secure-next-auth.callback-url (Cal.com): remembers the booking page to return to. Duration: session, removed when you close the browser.

Cal.com's own cookie policy explains them, and may change them.

Economic calendar: only when you show it

The economic calendar on our tools pages is TradingView's free widget. It loads only when you select Show calendar. Nothing from TradingView loads before that. Once shown, it runs in its own frame and TradingView sets these analytics cookies under its own domains:

_sp_id (TradingView, tradingview-widget.com): a visitor identifier for TradingView's usage analytics. Duration: about 400 days.

_sp_ses (TradingView, tradingview-widget.com): TradingView's analytics session. Duration: up to 90 days.

sp (TradingView, snowplow-pixel.tradingview.com): a visitor identifier for TradingView's analytics. Duration: 1 year.

TradingView also receives your IP address and the address of the page. Its own cookie and privacy policies explain what it does with them, and may change them. If you do not want these cookies, do not select Show calendar.

Changing your choices

You can change your choices at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. It reopens the consent manager.

If you live in a US state with a privacy law, you can also use the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link in the footer to turn off advertising pixels.

Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends one, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising, and advertising pixels do not load.

Deleting cookies in your browser

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser's settings, usually under Privacy or Site data. Your browser's help pages explain how.

If you delete them, the site will forget your language, your light or dark mode, your last inputs in the free trader tools and your cookie choices, and it will ask for your cookie choices again on your next visit.

Our privacy policy explains what personal data we collect and how you can use your rights. For any question about cookies, email growth@propfirmstudios.com.
